# Online orders

Open **ONLINE ORDERS** from the main menu. Online ordering must be enabled and
the provider connection configured for your store. Use an account authorised
for the store's order operations and keep the app connected.

## Find an order

1. Select **Swiggy** or **Zomato**.
2. Choose the status tab.
3. Select an order to open its details.
4. Verify the order identifier, items, quantities, additions, cooking requests,
and available delivery information before acting.

| Tab | Use it to review |
| ----------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| New | Incoming orders awaiting a response. |
| Preparing | Accepted orders being prepared. |
| Ready | Orders marked ready for pickup. |
| Picked Up | Orders collected for delivery. |
| Past Orders | Orders returned as past or completed by the integration. |

The badges help you locate orders in each stage. On a phone, details may open
separately; on a wider screen, they appear beside the order list.

## Handle a Swiggy order

1. Open a **New** order and check that the items can be fulfilled.
2. Tap **Confirm Now** when the store can accept it.
3. Find the order under **Preparing** and coordinate preparation with the kitchen.
4. When the order is ready, tap **Mark as Ready**.
5. Check the updated order status before handing it to the delivery partner.

If items are unavailable, use **Out of Stock?** while the action is offered:

1. Select the unavailable items in **Mark Items**.
2. Check the selected count and quantities.
3. Tap **Mark Out of Stock** and wait for the result.
4. Review the refreshed order before taking another action.

The app does not offer confirmation or preparation actions for orders in
Picked Up or Past Orders, or for an order already marked out of stock.

## Handle a Zomato order

1. Open a **New** order and review its details.
2. Tap **Accept** if the store can fulfil it, or **Reject** if it cannot.
3. Wait for the action to finish and verify the order's updated state.
4. In **Preparing**, tap **Mark as Ready** when preparation is complete.
5. Confirm the order moves to the appropriate status before handoff.

Accept and Reject are shown for New orders. Preparing orders offer Mark as
Ready. Later status tabs do not offer those actions.

## If the status does not change

Use **Refresh orders** and reselect the provider and status tab. A brief message
or a button press alone is not a substitute for checking the resulting status.
If the order remains unchanged, note its identifier, provider, and attempted
action for your support team before repeating the operation.

If one provider is empty while the other works, ask your administrator to check
that provider's store connection. Switching providers does not change stores.
