Work offline and sync
Offline ordering must be enabled for the store. Sign in and load the store’s products and tables while online before relying on offline operation. Internet access and local printer access are separate: a connection outage can still leave a local printer reachable, while a printer connection problem can prevent printing even when ordering works.
Continue an order
Use the tables and products available on the device. An active table whose order is not cached on this device cannot be opened in normal device-based offline mode. The app explains this when you try to open it.
For an available table, review items, send KOT, and use the supported billing and payment controls. An offline payment record is not confirmation that an external payment service has collected money; verify payment through your store’s normal process before recording it.
Understand the limits
The offline Delete Order action requires at least one item still pending KOT. Offline Cancel becomes available when all items have been sent to KOT and applies to eligible sent items. Follow the reason prompt and verify the result.
Review pending sync
Open the menu and choose Offline Orders. The menu badge counts pending local orders. Tap an order to inspect its status, time, items, total, and recorded payments.
Sync after the connection returns
- Restore the connection. If the session has expired, sign in again.
- Use the original user and store for the pending orders.
- Open Offline Orders and tap Sync when enabled.
- Tap Refresh or pull down to update the list.
- Confirm the orders leave the pending list. All offline orders are synced indicates that there are no remaining orders shown as pending in this view.
If a table says its offline changes are still syncing, the POS may open the local copy until sync finishes. Keep working from that copy and check the sync status instead of entering the same order again.
Keep the app’s local data intact while orders are waiting to sync. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app can remove the only local copy of unsynced work.
If sync continues to fail, record the table or bill number, store, user, and visible error for your support team. Do not recreate the bill as a new order without checking its server status.
