Take an order

Select a table, add items, and send them to the kitchen.

Select the table

  1. On the home screen, select the order type.
  2. Choose the zone containing the table.
  3. Tap the table and confirm its name before adding products.

Opening a new table while online can show Guest Info. Opening an existing order loads its current items; a table already in billing can open the bill.

Enter guest details

In Guest Info, enter Mobile Number, Guest Name, Cover, and Email as needed. A valid 10-digit mobile number is required to use Save; use Skip if you are continuing without guest details. Cover is the number of guests.

Entering a valid 10-digit mobile number starts a customer lookup. Check any autofilled name and email before saving. If lookup fails, you can enter the details manually.

Tap Save to use the details, Skip to continue without saving them, or Go Back to leave the screen. Follow any field validation shown by the app.

Build the order

  1. Choose a category and subcategory, or use Search products to find an item by name.
  2. Tap the product you want to add.
  3. If Choose Add-Ons opens, select the required additions, review their prices, and tap Proceed.
  4. Open the cart using the cart button on smaller screens. On wider landscape screens, review the order items beside the product list.
  5. Check each quantity. Use + and −, or long-press the quantity to enter a value from 1 to 99 when the item is editable.
  6. Use the unsent item’s C control to open Add Comment, enter preparation instructions, and tap Save.

Send the kitchen ticket

Tap KOT when the items are correct. KOT means kitchen order ticket. Items already sent to the kitchen appear with a blue background in the order list. After all current items are sent, the bottom action changes to View Bill.

You can add more products to the same order later. Review the new items and send them with KOT before billing.

An order being recorded and a ticket reaching the printer are separate outcomes. If a ticket is missing, check the KOT Print Queue and printer output before sending another copy.

Generate a self-order PIN

From the table screen, tap the Generate self-order PIN icon. Search for and select the intended table, then tap Generate PIN. When the app displays PIN generated for that table, give the PIN to the guest using your store’s self-order process. Tap Done, or Generate another for another table.

If the PIN is not generated, read the error and use Try again after resolving it. The PIN control is unavailable when no tables have loaded.

Next: Bill and collect payment.
